About Energy Jobs Board
Energy Jobs Board is a new UK job board built only for the energy sector. We bring together the people who build, run and maintain the UK's energy system and the employers and specialist agencies hiring them.
Why a specialist energy job board
General job sites list a wind turbine technician next to a warehouse operative and a retail manager. Searching them takes time, and their filters rarely know the difference between a GWO certificate and an offshore survival ticket. Energy Jobs Board exists so that every advert on it is an energy job, and every candidate who signs up is looking for energy work.
We cover ten sectors, from offshore wind and nuclear to oil and gas, power networks and utilities, hydrogen and carbon capture, energy storage and EV charging, heat and energy efficiency, and domestic and business energy sales. You can also browse roles by place, because energy work clusters around ports, power stations, nuclear sites and network depots.
Who the board is for
Candidates: engineers, technicians, project and commercial staff, graduates, career changers and people leaving the armed forces. Creating a profile, uploading your CV, applying for jobs, saving jobs and tracking your applications are all free. Our guide for candidates explains how each part works.
Employers: energy companies, contractors, supply chain businesses and specialist recruitment agencies with UK vacancies. You register, complete a company profile and submit adverts, and once approved you can also search candidate profiles.
How we check adverts
Every advert is reviewed by our team before it goes live. We look at whether the role is a genuine UK energy vacancy, whether the title matches the duties described, and whether the location and working pattern are clear. We encourage every employer to show a salary or day rate.
Adverts run for 30 days, or until the closing date the employer sets. Expired and closed adverts stop accepting applications, so you are not left applying for a job that has already gone.
A privacy-first approach to candidate data
Your profile is hidden by default. You decide whether verified employers can find you in candidate search, and you can change your mind at any time. Contact details and CVs are only visible to approved employers with database access.
Every CV download is logged, and you can see which companies have accessed yours. If you stop using the board, you can delete your account and your data. Our privacy policy sets out the detail.
Launching with founding employers
We are a new board and we are open about that. To build a useful set of genuine vacancies from the start, we are inviting a small number of energy employers and specialist agencies to advertise free using complimentary job credits. Places are offered by application or invitation, not automatically.
In return we ask for accurate adverts and honest feedback on what works and what does not. Details of the founding employer programme, including how to apply, are on its own page.
