What the programme is

Energy Jobs Board is new. A job board is only useful to candidates if it has genuine, current vacancies, so we are starting with a small group of founding employers and agencies who advertise free using complimentary job credits for a set period.

Founding places are not automatic. We review each application and offer places to organisations whose roles fit the board, so that the first adverts candidates see are accurate and relevant.

Who we are looking for

We want founding employers from across the energy sector: operators and developers, contractors and installers, supply chain and engineering businesses, and specialist recruitment agencies. You might be hiring for power and utilities roles, offshore technicians, nuclear engineers, project managers or heat pump installers.

The common thread is genuine UK vacancies in energy that you are actively recruiting for. Large or small does not matter; a regional installer with two vacancies is as welcome as a national contractor with twenty. What matters is that your roles are real, current and clearly described.

What founding employers receive

• Complimentary job credits to use during the founding period, so you can advertise without paying.
• The same advert checks, 30-day listings and applications to your dashboard and email that every employer gets.
• A direct line to the team building the board, and a say in how it develops.

We agree the credits and the length of the founding period with each organisation when we confirm its place.

What we ask in return

• Genuine UK energy vacancies. Roles you are actively recruiting for, not placeholder adverts or roles outside the UK.
• Accurate adverts. A clear job title, real location, pay information wherever possible and the certificates the role needs.
• Up-to-date listings. Let us know when a role is filled or withdrawn so candidates do not apply for jobs that have gone.
• Feedback. Tell us what works, what is confusing and what is missing, from posting adverts to managing applications.

How to apply

First, create an employer account and complete your company profile. Then send us a short message through our contact page telling us about your organisation, the sectors you hire in and the kinds of roles you expect to advertise.

It helps if you include a rough idea of how many roles you are likely to advertise over the coming months and where they are based. We read every application and reply by your preferred method. If we cannot offer a founding place, you can still advertise using our standard advertising packages.
